The Nicole Kidman Starring Ghost Story 'The Others' is Getting the Remake Treatment!

...Via Deadline, Sentient Entertainment has acquired the rights to the Nicole Kidman starring 2001 hit horror flick, The Others! According to the site, the studio plans to "reinvent and modernize" the story in a new remake. 

In the original The Others, written/directed by ​Alejandro Amenábar:

"A woman who lives in her darkened old family house with her two photosensitive children becomes convinced that the home is haunted."

Producing is Sentient’s Renee Tab and Christopher Tuffin, as well as Aliwen Entertainment’s Lucas Akoskin. Enrique Cerezo is executive producing alongside FilmSharks’ Guido Rud and Miller Way’s Michael and Jeeny Miller.
