That scream you hear is my wallet knowing it's about to be purged... ...Way back in 1992, Todd McFarlane unleashed the very first Spawn comic onto fans and introduced a character from Hell that would plunge deep into the public psyche, since appearing in various comics, games, TV shows, and even a live-action film that, well, let's admit it, could have been better but was still fun. A few years after that first comic was released, McFarlane unveiled the first ever Spawn action figure in 1995, and now, with McFarlane in development on a new Spawn film, the creator has redesigned that original figure and made the remastered version available through Kickstarter! According to the Kickstarter, "the figure will be 7 inches tall and come with a huge folding cape and weapon. The articulation in this version will be more than double what the original toy had, and the included comic cover will be re-drawn by the international award-winning artist and creator of the Spawn character, Todd McFarlane." There will be four levels/figures available for backers, including a CLASSIC costume version, a MODERN costume version (with new head), an ARTIST PROOF (essentially a ‘black & white version) and a 3-PACK bundle which will include a Classic, Modern and Black & White figure! At this moment, there are 27 days left to back the figure. Check out the Kickstarter to get your figure and take a look at all of the different molds/perks! By Matt Konopka
