More than 50 years later, there's still so much to say about George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, and this June, you can interact with commentary on the film from some of today's top horror writers!... ...KHC has learned that, as part of their virtual convention TorCon, Tor Books and Nightfire, in conjunction with Den of Geek, will be hosting a live streaming event of Romero's Night of the Living Dead this June with Daniel Kraus, co-author of the late Romero's upcoming zombie novel, The Living Dead! The event will also include commentary from authors Grady Hendrix (The Southern Bookclub's Guide to Slaying Vampires), Cassandra Khaw (Nothing But Blackened Teeth) and Paul Tremblay (A Head Full of Ghosts, Survivor Song)! The event kicks off on June 13th at 8pm EDT. Kraus will be introducing the film and then joined for a lively discussion afterwards of all things Romero, zombie, and horror with Hendrix, Khaw and Tremblay. The screening and discussion will be streamed live on Den of Geek’s Twitch channel with lots of extra surprises in store. Fans will have the opportunity to join in the chat discussion during and following the film. Register for the event here, and don't miss The Living Dead when the book releases on August 4th, 2020.
