 Who doesn't love a good horror anthology?... ...Created by Aaron B. Koontz & Cameron Burns, the first trailer for comedic horror anthology Scare Package has been released, and oh my god, does it look like a good, gory time! Featuring seven directors and seven segments, it appears there will be something for everyone in this hilarious combination of blood and bonkers storytelling, which is what makes anthologies one of the best forms of horror there is. The tagline for the film reads, "7 filmmakers. 7 Tales of Terror. 0 Working Cell Phones." It's kind of sad how giddy reading that last part makes me. Cell phones have essentially ruined a lot of modern horror films, forcing filmmakers into figuring out how to get rid of them, so just seeing the film comment on that makes me even more excited to see whatever retro terror it's going to provide. The directors include Emily Hagins, Baron Vaughn, Noah Segan, Chris McInroy, Anthony Cousins, Hillary & Courtney Andujar, and Aaron B. Koontz. The film stars Noah Segan (KNIVES OUT), Baron Vaughn (MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3K) Chase Williamson (BEYOND THE GATES), Jocelyn DeBoer (GREENER GRASS), Jeremy King (CAMERA OBSCURA), Dustin Rhodes (WWE Legend), Zoe Graham (BOYHOOD), Hawn Tran (THE WATCHMEN), Kirk Johnson (LAZER TEAM), Chelsey Grant, Jon Michael Simpson, Josephine McAdam and more.
