[Trailer] A Drifter Discovers a Strange, Cultish Indie Rock Band in 'The Transcendents' this June!

...Indican Pictures has released an eerie trailer for director Derek Ahonen's strange, cult-y debut feature, The Transcendents, which combines Indie Rock and, as far as we can tell, cult horror. 

In The Transcendents:

"Roger, a Rasputin-like drifter, is in search of the ultimate indie-rock band, The Transcendents:  A band that was on the brink of greatness before disappearing from the world. What he finds is less than transcendent: a band that has all but abandoned society, a host of unpleasant memories, and more questions than answers in his search. Set in the Wonderland of America's Do-it-Yourself music scene and populated by many great musicians he must decide what is more important, fame and adulation or staying true to you."

The film stars Savannah Welch, Rob Franco, Kathy Valentine , Ben Reno, William LeRoy, Paul Sevigny and Cecilia Deacon. 

The Transcendents will see a limited theatrical run beginning June 19th, followed by a release on DVD and Digital July 21st from Indican Pictures.
