Talk about a backseat driver...

...Ahead of its World Premiere at the Cinequest film festival, a trailer has been released for writer/director Peter Hsieh's debut feature, Drive All Night, a surreal thriller that turns a taxi driver's night into one to remember!

In Drive All Night:
"Dave, a reclusive swing-shift taxi driver, whose night takes an unexpected turn after he picks up a mysterious passenger, Cara, a young woman hiding a dark secret. As she makes him drive through the city on a series of bizarre excursions, things get increasingly more surreal the further into the night they go."
The film stars Yutaka Takeuchi (Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’), Lexy Hammonds, Sarah Dumont (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, The Royals) and Johnny Gilligan.

It was Executive Produced by Christopher Au (‘Bulge Bracket’) and Sam Chou.

Said Hsieh, “I wanted to develop a complex and layered narrative that became increasingly more dream-like and surreal as the story developed. My goal is to take the audience down the rabbit hole on a fever dream trip through wonderland and hopefully have them come out the other side both baffled and entertained."

Drive All Night will make its World Premiere during the Cinequest film festival running March 20th-30th. Buy tickets here.

"Drive All Night" seems like a thrilling cinematic ride that promises to take viewers on a surreal journey. The trailer has left me intrigued with its mesmerizing visuals, haunting soundtrack, and gripping storyline. It's refreshing to see a film that explores the complexities of a taxi driver's life, as he navigates through the dark streets of a city that never sleeps. I am excited to witness the world premiere of "Drive All Night" at Cinequest this month, and I am confident that it will be a memorable experience for all those who appreciate excellent storytelling and superb cinematography.
