 Asia Argento is no stranger to the horror genre... ...Gravitas Ventures has released a trailer for Agony, starring Asia Argento (Land of the Dead), daughter of legendary horror director Dario Argento, who has become quite the name in horror herself over the past couple of decades! Directed by Michele Civetta and written by Civetta and Joseph Schuman, Agony actually has a bit of an Argento vibe to it, with a plot that sounds straight out of his "Three Mothers" trilogy. In Agony: "Called unexpectedly to Tuscany to execute her estranged mother’s will and majestic estate, a discontented New York family woman must decipher visions of her forgotten childhood and confront a spectral “Lady in Red,” whose dark secret unlocks a terrifying destiny." The film stars Asia Argento, Franco Nero (John Wick: Chapter 2), Rade Serbedzija (Batman Begins), Ninetto Davoli, Jonathan Caouette and Monica Gueritorre.
