Prepare to be trapped again...
...The 1997 Cube was a mind-blowing feature debut from director Vincenzo Natali (Splice), and today we've learned that Vincenzo has executive produced a Japanese remake of his film from director Yasuhiko Shimizu!
The synopsis on the film's website reads: "Six men and women suddenly trapped. Engineers, group staff, part-time workers, junior high school students, mechanics, company officers. They have no contact or connection. For no apparent reason, murderous traps such as heat-sensitive lasers, wire slicers, and flamethrowers attack them as they try to escape. You can never get out of it without unraveling the code that was set up. The limits of physical and mental strength, extreme tension, fear and anxiety, and the gradual manifestation of human nature ... In fear and distrust, we continue on an endless path to "live." Can they escape safely?"
