We might have just witnessed the trailer for the midnight film of the year... ...A trailer has been released for director Steven Kostanski's Psycho Goreman, and oh my god, does this one look like a crowdpleaser! Having directed Leprechaun Returns and The Void, Kostanski is no stranger to bloody insanity, and Psycho Goreman fittingly contains loads of gore, giant brains with eyeballs, ninjas, and so, so much more. In Psycho Goreman: "Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord. Using a magical amulet, they force the monster to obey their childish whims, and accidentally attract a rogues' gallery of intergalactic assassins to small-town suburbia." The film stars Nita-Josée Hanna, Owen Myre, Matthew Ninaber, Adam Brooks, Alexis Hancey, Kristen MacCulloch and Steven Vlahos. It was produced by Stuart F. Andrews, Shannon Hanmer and Steven Kostanski, with Peter Kuplowsky co-producing. Jesse Kristensen executive produced. Psycho Goreman (aka, PG), will have its world premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas this March on Friday the 13th! By Matt Konopka
