[Trailer] 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' gives the Ecto-1 an Upgrade!

The long-awaited Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer was released from its ghost trap this morning and it looks like everything Ghostbusters fans have been hoping for...

...At least, it's everything I've been wanting...

As revealed in the trailer, we can now confirm that Carrie Coon is playing the daughter of Egon Spengler, with Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace as the grandchildren, all of whom are reunited to become the next generation of ghost busting heroes!

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, written by Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman and directed by Reitman:

A single mother and her two kids who arrive in a small town. They begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind."

While members of the original cast, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts have all been announced as returning, we do not see any in the trailer. However, we do get a look at what seem to be Terror Dogs, and an Ecto-1 with some new tricks up its sleeve, er, exhaust pipe? 

The film also stars Paul Rudd as a teacher helping the kids discover the mystery of their ancestry.
