 What would you do if you were haunted by your ex?... ...Studio Canal has dropped the first trailer for Blithe Spirit, a ghostly comedy featuring an all-star cast that looks like an eerily fun time! Directed by Edward Hall and written by Meg Leonard, Nick Moorcroft and Piers Ashworth, the film is an adaptation of Noel Coward's story, which has been adapted for the stage and screens many times before. In Blithe Spirit: "A spiritualist medium holds a seance for a writer suffering from writers block but accidentally summons the spirit of his deceased first wife which leads to an increasingly complex love triangle with his current wife of five years." The film stars Dan Stevens (The Guest), Judi Dench (Skyfall), Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) and Leslie Mann (Knocked Up). Blithe Spirit will haunt UK cinemas on May 1st, 2020 through Studio Canal.
