[Trailer] Kids in School are Blowing Up (Literally) in Horror-Comedy 'Spontaneous' this October!

Love is about to blossom and blow up...

...Paramount Home Entertainment has released the hilarious, bloody trailer for writer/director Brian Duffield's Spontaneous, which transforms the idea of spontaneous combustion into a high-school horror comedy.

In Spontaneous, adapted from the book by Arron Starmer:

"When students in their high school begin inexplicably exploding (literally…), seniors Mara and Dylan struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last. As an unexpected romance blossoms between them, Mara and Dylan discover that when tomorrow is no longer promised, they can finally start living for today!"

The film stars Katherine Langford ("Cursed"), Charlie Plummer (Words on Bathroom Walls), Yvonne Orji (Night School), Hayley Law ("Riverdale"), Rob Huebel ("Transparent") and Piper Perabo ("Penny Dreadful: City of Angels").

Spontaneous arrives in select theaters on October 2nd, followed by a release on VOD/Digital October 6th from Paramount Home Entertainment.

It’s important to remember that kids will blow up in different ways as they mature and get older. You have to be prepared for that. The best way to prepare for this is to take the time to understand what your own kids are doing or could be doing in school. You have to be ready to make adjustments to keep them on the right track.
