 This April, go on a search for The Wooden Devil... ...High Octane Pictures has released a trailer for Rootwood, a new horror flick which explores the myth of a malevolent entity in the woods. Directed by Marcel Walz and written by Mario von Czapiewski, the film has a slight Blair Witch Project vibe (without the found footage style) and features KHC friend, Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp)! In Rootwood: "Two students are hired by a Hollywood film producer to shoot a horror documentary about the curse of The Wooden Devil." The film also stars Tyler Gallant, Elissa Dowling, Sarah French, Tiffani Fest, Brandon Rhea and Kwame Head. Head into Rootwood when it releases on VOD April 7th, 2020 from High Octane Pictures.
