 In Space, everything is goddamn frightening... ...IFC Midnight has released a trailer for director Egor Abramenko's Russian horror film, Sputnik, and it looks absolutely horrific! The trailer below is packed with all kinds of crippling tension and screeching monsters. In Sputnik, written by Oleg Malovichko and Andrei Zolotarevthe: "At the height of the Cold War, a Soviet spacecraft crash lands after a mission gone awry, leaving the commander as its only survivor. After a renowned Russian psychologist is brought in to evaluate the commander’s mental state, it becomes clear that something dangerous may have come back to Earth with him." The film stars Oksana Akinshina, Fedor Bondarchuk, Pyotr Fyodorov, and Anton Vasilev. Watch the trailer below, and catch Sputnik when it lands on VOD August 14th, 2020 from IFC Midnight.
