 April is going to be creepy... ...Yesterday, Shudder announced that they would be renewing their horror anthology series Creepshow for a season 3. Created by Greg Nicotero and based on the 1982 film from George A. Romero and Stephen King, season one and subsequent specials have been a hit for Shudder, and along with the announcement, they have released a trailer for season 2 that looks fantastic! Season 2’s cast includes Barbara Crampton, Ali Larter, Ryan Kwanten, Iman Benson, C. Thomas Howell, Denise Crosby, Breckin Meyer, Ted Raimi, Kevin Dillon and Eric Edelstein. Some details revealed on season 2 episodes, which will feature nine episodes all together: Keith David (The Thing), Ashley Laurence (Hellraiser) and Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead) will star in “Pesticide,” written by Frank Dietz, in which an exterminator makes an infernal bargain; and “Model Kid,” written by returning Creepshow writer John Esposito (season one’s “Night of the Paw”), is about a 12-year-old monster fan who turns to hand-built model kits to escape his unhappy reality. Joe Lynch will also direct an episode. Creepshow Season 2 comes to Shudder on April 1st.  By Matt Konopka
