 The legend has returned... ...Universal has just released the trailer for director Nia DaCosta's Candyman, a spiritual sequel to the 1992 original, and it looks AMAZING. In the trailer, we see star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II investigating the legend of Candyman in Cabrini Green, only to find himself being taken over by the deadly spirit! Even more exciting? There are hints that Tony Todd COULD reprise his role of the titular killer! Check out the terrifying, blood-soaked trailer below! In Candyman: "Candyman returns to the now-gentrified Chicago neighborhood where the legend began." The film also stars Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits) and Colman Domingo (Euphoria).
