"I'm trying to reach the living souls of patients whose brains are no longer functioning. But before I run the tests on real patients with real brains, I must run the test on ghosts"... ...While I'm not sure about the scientific logic presented by Celia Williams' character, Helen, in Inner Ghosts, I do know one thing: You don't mess with ghosts, Helen! Any medium should know that. The debut feature of writer/director by Paulo Leite, the trailer for Inner Ghosts has been unleashed, and while it doesn't exactly provide a whole lot of clarity, there appears to be a ton of spooky terror, and what looks like one pissed off ghost. In Inner Ghosts: If ghosts can think and remember who they are, then the physical brain is not the only place where we store our inner selves. Helen (Celia Williams) is asked to train two young women into the art of communicating with the dead. But Helen's days as a medium are long gone. In fact, she gave up that life 15 years ago when she lost her daughter. Today Helen is a different woman dedicated to her career in brain research. Things start to change when a visit from the other side offers her the design of a device that can do amazing things. But to everything there is a risk." Inner Ghosts haunts DVD/VOD on January 7th, 2020 from Uncork'd Entertainment. By Matt Konopka
