Cranked Up Films is bringing us what looks like a bloody hellish time this September...

...KHC has just learned that Cranked Up Films has acquired director Rob Grant's Alive (he also directed the fantastic Harpoon), and we have a new trailer to go along with the announcement! The film has been awarded “Best Director” for Grant at both HorrorHaus Film Festival and New York City Horror Film Festival, and has also received Austin Film Festival’s Audience Award, “Best Feature Film” at Atlanta Horror Film Festival and “Best Thriller Feature Film” from Shriekfest, among others.

In Alive, written by Chuck McCue and Jules Vincent:
"A severely injured man and woman awaken in an abandoned sanitorium with no memory of who they are or what has happened. A sadistic caretaker discourages their questions and doles out punishments whenever they refuse to cooperate or try to escape. When they finally make their escape to freedom, they discover the answers to who they are – revealing even greater horror."
The film stars Thomas Cocquerel (The 100), Camille Stopps (Reign) and Angus Macfadyen (Strange Angel).

Alive releases in theaters and On-Demand September 18th from Cranked Up Films.

Hi Matt, Firstly, I love Killer Horror Critic, it's a great site. You post sooooo much and the reviews are well-written. Kudos.

I just wanted to say that rather than being new, Alive. (with a full stop for emphasis) is from 2018 and has been reviewed many times already. It's one of the better movies I have seen in the last few weeks (I preferred it to the overrated Harpoon but maybe I need to revisit the latter now?).

Anyway, check it out on my site and I trust it will get another positive review on Killer Horror Critic too.
