 Who doesn't love a good Christmas horror film?... ...Via Deadline, Universal has acquired a Christmas-set horror thriller Violent Night from the writers of Sonic, Pat Casey and Josh Miller! Though there aren't many details, Violent Night is: "An elevated thriller set against the Christmas holiday backdrop." While I'm not a fan of the use of the word "elevated" there, the title certainly implies a bloody night of Christmas horror and gifts of terror, so I'm in. The film will be produced by 87North’s Kelly McCormick, David Leitch and Annie Marter. More details here as we learn them. By Matt Konopka
