Vertigo Releasing Acquires Billy Zane-Starring World War II Horror Flick 'Ghosts of War' from 'The Butterfly Effect' Director!

...KHC has just learned that Vertigo Releasing has acquired World War II horror flick Ghosts of War from writer/director Eric Bress (The Butterfly Effect)!

​In Ghosts of War:

"Five American soldiers are assigned to hold a French Chateau previously occupied by Nazi high command near the end of World War Two. Soon their respite descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield."

The film stars Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent), Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) and Billy Zane (Demon Knight).

Ghosts of War will release on digital platforms in UK and Ireland on July 17th through Vertigo Films before being released in Australia and New Zealand via a partnership with Rialto Distribution​.

​No word yet on a U.S. release date.
