Candyman, Candyman, Candyman, Candyman, Candy...
...Man, the first look at MGM's Jordan Peele produced Candyman is here, and even though it's the briefest of looks, we're already incredibly excited! Directed by Nia DaCosta, the film is a spiritual sequel to the 1992 original, and has had fans waiting patiently for our first glimpse. Today, the Twitter account for the Candyman film dropped a brief teaser which you can see below, and a poster has been released as well, one which dares you to say his name.
In Candyman:
"Candyman returns to the now-gentrified Chicago neighborhood where the legend began."
The film stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Us), Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits), Colman Domingo (Euphoria), and Tony Todd (the original Candyman himself), returning in a still unknown capacity.
Check out the teaser/poster below, and say his name when Candyman arrives in theaters from MGM on June 12th, 2020, and don't miss the first official trailer, coming our way Thursday!
