 Bill Pullman has a message for you... ...Over the weekend, America celebrated the fourth of July, yet the celebration comes as Covid-19 continues to devastate the nation, and leadership utterly fails to do anything about it. On Saturday, actor Bill Pullman, who played arguably the best president in film history with Independence Day's Thomas J. Whitmore, released a PSA for Alamo Drafthouse asking Americans to wear their masks. In the video, Pullman calls masks "freedom masks", because wearing them will allow us the freedom to be able to go back to something more normal sooner, and free us from the pain and suffering which Covid-19 is causing. It pains me to say that wearing a mask is still very much an issue in America (one of if not the only places where it is an issue), and so if Pullman could convince America to put aside their differences, their political views, and defend the earth against an alien threat, perhaps he can inspire others to do something as simple as wearing a cloth covering on their damn face to protect not just themselves, but their fellow citizens.
