Blade is back... ...When it comes to Full Moon's Puppet Master series, there are many favorite killer puppets, but none are more iconic than the Jack the Ripper-looking Blade, knife hand and all. Blade's first ever standalone spinoff, Blade: The Iron Cross, is now available from Full Moon Features, and we have a clip which gives a pretty good idea of what to expect from this campy horror flick (one which our Jeffrey W. Hollingsworth gave a "highly recommend" in his review). In Blade: The Iron Cross, directed by John Lechago and written by Roger Barron: "Charles Band’s iconic PUPPET MASTER series continues in this 12th official entry as Dr. Hauser, the Third Reich's maddest scientist, rises again with murder and mayhem on his mind. As the deranged Nazi doctor's perverse plot is revealed, psychic journalist Elisa Ivanov awakens her own angel of death in Blade and together, maiden and marionette get set to hammer the evil Hauser back into hell where he belongs." The film stars Roy Abramsohn (Escape From Tomorrow) and Tania Fox (Art of the Dead), Griffin Blazi, Jarrell Hall, Bobby Ree, Vince Cusimano, Jonas Gray and Angelica Briones. Blade: The Iron Cross is now available on the Amazon Full Moon Features channel, as well as available to rent/purchase through Amazon directly here! Check out the clip below! By Matt Konopka
