[Video] New Action-Packed Trailer for 'Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula' Mixes Fast Cars and Fast Zombies!

...Well Go USA has released a second trailer for Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula, and oh my god, we need this in our eyeballs immediately! A sequel to director Sang-ho Yeon's Train to Busan, one of the best zombie films of the last decade, the director returns for Peninsula, which ups the action by about ten-fold, taking what appears to be heavy inspiration from George Romero's Land of the Dead and even blending a little Fast and the Furious for good measure.

In Peninsula:

“Four years after South Korea’s total decimation in 'Train to Busan', Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.”

The film stars Gang Dong-won, Lee Jung-hyun and Lee Re.

At this time, there is no release date, but the film has been announced as an official selection for Cannes.
