The newly released teaser for Greenlight takes that idea to sinister lengths... ...The award-winning film has been on the festival circuit for a bit (read our review here), and now, with just a month until release, Talk Story Pictures and The Horror Collective have released the first look at the new film from director Graham Denman and writer Patrick R. Young, which stars Chase Williamson (Beyond the Gates) as a director who finds himself way over his head, which we see in the teaser below. In Greenlight: A director’s dream job quickly descends into a nightmare when he is forced to film a real-life murder." Our own Daniel Boucher called the film a "terrifying look into the world of making movies," when he reviewed it for us at the Shriekfest Horror Film Festival here in Los Angeles, where the film took home awards for Best Thriller Feature Film and Best Male Performance in a Feature Film (Williamson). Greenlight also stars Shane Coffey (Starry Eyes), Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre II), Nicole Alexandra Shipley (Guardians of the Galaxy), Evanne Friedmann (As Night Comes) Victor Turpin (Ma), Craig Stark (Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood), and Chris Browning (Bright). It was produced by Rudy Scalese, along with executive producers Greg Blunden, Pamela Blunden, and Phil Malaspina. Greenlight calls action when it hits VOD on February 25th, 2020. The film will also be playing at the Kansas City, MO’s Panic Fest, which runs January 24-30, 2020. More information about the festival can be found here. By Matt Konopka
