This should go without saying but, this is one of many reasons you don't cheat... ...Yesterday, it was revealed that Paramount+ would be bringing new Pet Sematary and Paranormal Activity films exclusively to the service, and now we've also learned via THR that the service has ordered a script to series adaptation of the 1987 film, Fatal Attraction! In this new series, described as "a deep-dive reimagining" and written by Alexandra Cunningham and Kevin Hynes: "The new take will be told through the lens of modern attitudes when it comes to strong women, personality disorders, victim shaming and coercive control." Alexandra Cunningham and Kevin Hynes will executive produce alongside Amblin Television's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Stanley Jaffe and Sherry Lansing, who produced the 1987 feature, will also exec produce. The original film centered around a man who cheats on his wife, and finds himself stalked by his one-night stand. The film starred Glenn Close and Michael Douglas, and we'll anxiously be awaiting to see who will take on those roles in this new series. More details here as we learn them. By Matt Konopka
