Of all of the people we would love to see work together, these two are near the top of the list...

...Via Full Circle, not only has Jordan Peele (Get Out) been tapped to write/direct a new creature for Universal as part of a 5-year deal which the director signed, but the studio is looking to have Will Smith (Independence Day, Men in Black) star!
Of course, none of this is official at the moment, and we don't yet know which Universal monster property Peele is working on, but based on the success of The Invisible Man and multiple other creature feature projects in the pipeline with the studio, such as one being produced by James Wan, it's no surprise that A-list stars are taking an interest in the revival of Universal's monsters.

More details here as we learn them.
